Terms and Conditions of The Prize Mob Ltd.

1.     Qualifying Persons

  • THE PRIZE MOB LTD Companies House number: 12492536 (promoter(s), our(s) operate fundraising events via online competitions which includes knowledge based competitions resulting in the allocation of the prize(s) in accordance with these terms and conditions on the website, (the website, www.prizemob.co.uk)

  • Terms and conditions apply to online prize draw competitions and live events.

  • Draws are open to people age 18 and over who are resident of the UK (Non UK residents will be unable to claim prize)

  • Restrictions to employees of the promoting party or persons connected with the promoter including members of their immediate family or any other representatives/persons connected with the creation or administration of any of our prize draws.

  • The promoter reserves the right to refuse a customer entry at the promoter’s own discretion.

 

2.     Legal Undertaking

  • By entering the competition the entrant (you, yourself and customers will be deemed to have legit capacity to do so) you will have read the terms and conditions and you will be bound by them and by and other requirements set out in promoters promotional material

  • Relating to the draw will be dealt with and or resolved with English Law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • In event you participate in a competition online via the website and by accepting these terms and conditions you hereby confirm that you are not breaching any laws in the country of residence regarding the loyalty of entering our competitions unlawfully, if not sure leave the website and check your own countries laws.

 

3.     Competition Entry

  • Draws are entered via our website, we reserve the right to operate multiple draws at the same time, each draw will offer its own prize.

  • Pricing of tickets for the draw will be at the discretion of the promoters and will be specified at the point of sale on the website.

  • There is a free entry route to each competition

  • Please send full details of competition you would like to enter and answer prize related question CORRECTLY 

  • Including name, address, date of birth, email, contact number on a stamped addressed postcard to our mailing address:

  • (one postcard per draw)

  • Free entry route means that the draw does not fall within the definition of a lottery under The Gambling Act Of 2005 and can be operated legally in the UK without any requirements of a licence.

  • In order to enter a prize, draw you will need to register with us, you will be asked to provide an email address or sign in through your email account.

  • When playing a draw online via the website, you must follow the instructions to select the draw you wish to enter and when you are ready to purchase tickets provide correct content and payment details.

  • You will be required to answer our knowledge or skill question correctly in order to take part in our prize draw.

  • Only completed entries with correct answer to knowledge/skill question will be entered into the prize draw and failure to answer question correctly will result in entrant still being charged.

  • Upon entering the prize draw all entrants acknowledge that their payment for each entry is to answer the question correctly and therefore be entered into a prize draw, it is in no way a guarantee that they will go on to win a prize.

  • Maximum 50 entries per person in each individual draw.

  • An individual account can have unlimited entries provided they are purchased on behalf of other people.

  • You will need to check details and agree to the terms and conditions.

  • When tickets are purchased, we will contact you via email to confirm the purchase of a quiz ticket, entries into the prize draw will be automatic upon answering knowledge/skill question correctly.

  • Entries by post confirming entry to the draw will be sent via email to email address provided on account and postcard.

  • All the entries to the extent Applicable Law permitted by become promoter’s property and will not be returned.​

4.     Membership

  • All entrants must create an account prior to entering a competition and will be required to supply an email address to enter a prize draw.

​

5.     Competition Detail’s

  • Each draw will run for a specific amount of time, and each draw will state a specific end date and time.

  • Each draw will close when last ticket is sold, no more entries will be taken after that time.

  • All prize draws are streamed live on our website and Facebook Live events page and winners are selected by Google's random number generator.

  • Our draws are in no way sponsored or endorsed by Facebook, Instagram or any other social media site.

  • Google random number generator will determine the winner of each draw and for transparency we video all draws LIVE.

  • Only one winner per prize draw.

  • The Promoter will attempt to get to contact the winners via details on their account, it is entrants’ responsibility to keep their information up to date.

  • The Promoter will not be held responsible for entrant’s incorrect contact details.

  • At least 10% of total tickets sales from each competition will be donated to a charity of the winner's choice ( UK registered charities only)

6.     Unclaimed Prizes

  • If for any reason winner does not claim prize within 28 days, the prize will remain the property of the promoter and can be then used again.

7.     Cancelled Draws

  • The Promoter reserve the right to cancel a draw at any time, entrants will receive a full refund or entry credits to enable them to enter an alternative draw.

  • The Promoter reserve the right to extend the closing date of prize draw if  70% of tickets are not sold.

  • Prize draws can be extended up to 3 times.

  • If after prize draw has been extended maximum number of times and maximum number of tickets are not reached then 80% of ticket sales from that competition will be rewarded to winner and prize will remain the property of supplier (unless otherwise stated)

​8.     Winner

  • Winner will be required to show proof of age photo ID upon delivery of prize.

  • Any failure to meet this requirement may result in the winner being disqualified and promoter retaining the prize.

  • Winners will be asked for their consent to provide personal details, prize they have won and photo/video of acceptance of prize for use on promoter’s website and other social media sites for purpose of marketing.

  • Delivery/collection of prizes(s) will be within 7 days of live draw providing all above details are met.

9.     Prizes

  • The prizes are selected by the promoter and are the property of the supplier(s) from the date and time the draw goes live to the date and time the draw ends.

  • All prizes are brand new and within warranty date unless otherwise stated on each individual draw and the promoter take no responsibility for the prize after delivery has taken place.

  • The promoter does not insure the prize(s) or is responsible for insuring prize(s), it is responsibility of winner to insure the prize.

  • The promoter is not responsible for the prize once it has been handed to the winner.

  • Delivery of the prize to the winner’s address in the United Kingdom is free unless otherwise stated in each individual draw.

  • Each prize must be accepted for each draw as awarded and is non-transferable to any other prize/substitute and cannot be used in conjunction with any other draws unless otherwise stated within each individual draw.

  • If any prize becomes unavailable at the time of the prize draw we reserve the right to offer a  equivalent cash alternative.

9(a) Prize Suppliers

  • All prize(s) put up for raffle will retain the property of person(s) supplying the prize(s) until live draw has taken place and all monies have been settled, any prize unavailable for raffle time will be replaced with equivalent cash alternative.

9(b)  Charity

  • At least 10% of our total ticket sales from each draw will be awarded to the charity of the winner's choice in their name, which will be stated on our website and Facebook page alongside name of winner and prize.

  • All charities must be registered in the United Kingdom.

10.  Storage

  • The promoter can store any prize for 28 days and after that time delivery will be to the cost of the winner, if delivery cannot be made after a further 28 days prize will be returned to the property of the promoter.

11.  Personal Data

  • Subject to winner’s consent photo/video(s) and name can be used in marketing and promotional publicity purposes on promoters’ websites and other social media sites.

12.  Limits of liability

  • The Promoter gives no representation/warranties or assurances of any nature and whether in writing or otherwise as to the quality, suitability or fitness of any of the goods or services advertised.

13.  Communications

  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for electronic communications partial or unreadable messages.

​

14.  Data Protection Notice

  • Any personal data that you supply to the promoter or authorise the promoter to obtain from a third party, for example, a credit card company, will be used for by promoter to administer the competition and provide prizes where applicable. In order to process, record and use your personal data the promoter may disclose it to (i) any credit card company whose name give; (ii) any person to whom promoter proposes to transfer any of the promoters rights and/or responsibilities under any agreement the promoter may have with you; (iii) any person to whom the promoter proposes to transfer its business or any part of it; (iv) comply with any legal or regulatory requirement of the promoter in any country; and (v) prevent, detect or prosecute fraud and other crime. In order to process, use, record and disclose your personal data the promoter may need to transfer your information outside the United Kingdom, in which event the promoter is responsible for ensuring that your personal data continues to be adequately protected during course of such transfer.
